A friend once told me the story of how the Lord touched his heart and changed his life forever. Early in his life when his wife was a believer and he was not. One day driving down the road he came to the realization that he was on “The Highway to Hell”, as he came to this realization, at that very moment he pulled up behind a car and his eyes were drawn to the bumper sticker. It had the cartoon character Yosemite Sam standing there with his flowing red mustache and two drawn smoking guns with the caption underneath reading “Turn or Burn”.

The Spirit of the Lord touched his heart and his life was changed at that moment. He stopped doing all the stuff he knew was wrong, gave it up, and turned to the Lord.

Later he learned how his wife and a small group of believers had gathered and prayed for the Lord to change his heart.

I believe that God answered their prayers because a few believers refused to accept what the world saw and came together in agreement in prayer and that opened the door for the Lord to work a miracle in this man’s life. That man is now a Pastor and his life has been changed.
